The Hp2711x has a glossy screen which admittedly isn’t for everyone. The Bright View anti-glare gets rid of most of this annoyance but specifications for similarly sized TN panel monitors in this price range are slightly better.
Acer HN274H BMIIID 3D 27-Inch LED Monitor
We’ve been waiting for the release of Acer’s 3D LED monitor for a long time and now that it’s finally here it doesn’t disappoint. The Acer HN274H is the world’s first 27 inch LED monitor which is nVidia 3D-ready. It is somewhat on the expensive side however, this version actually comes with nVidia’s 3D vision glasses included which cost you around $150 if purchased separately. Expect to pay additional money for any monitor that is nVidia 3D ready.
For most PC users this monitor is simply impractical at this price range. If you’re a gamer or want to watch 3D movies, then this is the monitor you’ve been looking for if smooth frames, performance, and 3D is a must. It’s full High definition with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, 10,000,000:1 Contrast Ratio, 120 hertz refresh rate, 2ms GTG refresh rate and it comes with diverse connectivity options including D-Sub, DVI, and 3 HDMI connectors.
There are a lot of really great LED monitors out there this year. If you want a standard LED monitor, then we’d recommend the VX2753MH-LED from Viewsonic.
